I’ve lived in the South Bay area of California for most of my life. I have family in Japan, where I was born.  The gorgeous view of the ocean, long-time friends, and local businesses that know you by your latte preference keep me here.  The weather isn’t terrible either.  I have watched the small beach towns evolve over the years and have a great understanding of the needs and challenges of living in this area. In my design, I incorporate smart home solutions you find in Japanese homes to Western architecture.  Who doesn’t need more storage!? 

The relationships I build with friends and clients alike are selective and sacred. Mutual respect is at the top of my list, and compassion is also high up there. I believe that we can work great as a team in any situation by eliminating power and ego. Is it always picture-perfect? Of course not, but respect and compassion will outweigh the turbulence. 

I love walking into a space where I can feel the undeniable intention behind the execution—the colors, the textures, the personality. Each layer is consciously selected to evoke a sense of peace and confidence. You’re inviting me into such a personal space—I don’t take that lightly. You and I can make a home filled with life. 

And for all of my (not so) silent cheerleaders out there—your unconditional support over the years has not gone unnoticed.  It fuels my passion.  What a lucky gal I am.  Thank you… Now, let’s get to work!
